S.M.I

In 1999 a group of childhood friends, and just friends, got together in Åmål, Sweden for a weekend of golf.

It was Jan Andersson, Roger Carlsson, Petter Gjertsson, Pär Götharsson, Johan Högberg and me (Peter).

We decided to create this annual tournament that we would have so that we could get together, catch up, have fun and, of course, play some golf.

It has been a great success and a good way of keeping in touch over the years. The majority of the founders are still actively participating, and more friends have been added to this collection of, now slightly older but still cool, group of men.

The tournament has now been active for more than 20 years.
